Potty Patrol was created by two dad’s to help in potty training their own children. During their potty training experiences (yes they trained a total of 9 children!) they realized there had to be a better way to make potty training easier. Thus the Potty Patrol was created to help parents manage the potty training experience and children to conquer potty training with speed, confidence and dignity. Electronic alarms have been found helping with nighttime accidents and parents seem to opt in for this as a last resort. The Potty Patrol is a unique affordable way to obtain daytime toilet training.
The Potty Patrol system is a wonderful additional to helping with potty training. I have two boys who at the point of potty training one is very stubborn on using the “big boy” potty at 3 years old he needs to start asap. The Potty Patrol starter kit contains two packs of diapers with sensors in them to attach the musical alarm to aid when children are wet. I found this very helpful with potty training in the day time and children are alerted quickly when it’s time to go potty. I have only tried this with my 3 year old who still refuses to use the potty yet and is very stubborn in trying to break this habit of his. I also have a 2 year old who should be starting potty training and I think this would be a good way to start him in learning.
How this system works:
1. Put the diaper on the snaps and blue sensor goes in the front.
2. Snap on the alarm it is activated once it’s snapped onto the diaper
3. Listen for the alarm; once wetness is detected there is a short siren and then plays “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” twice.
4. Place your child on the potty when the alarm sounds
5. Snap off the alarm and replace diaper. Don’t forget to add the alarm back on.
6. Once your child is on the toilet and actual goes celebrate success!
I would recommend this product to any mom is struggling with potty training especially a mom of boys my only daughter was so much easier to potty train than my boys are. The starter kit is affordable on any budget at $34.99, you can also order refill diapers for $19.99. The starter kit is available for both boys and girls with a pink and blue alarm which is reusable with the diaper refills. What benefits does potty training quickly provide? You will save time by training your child to use the potty giving your more time together and spending less time changing diapers. You’ll save money on buying disposable diapers and training pants and help reduce diaper waste in landfills.
