Chocolate cover strawberries can be expensive to buy, but you can make your own for less than $10 and about an hour of your time. Chocolate covered strawberries make a perfect gift for any occasion and it doesn’t have to cost a lot either. You only need a few materials to create these strawberries.
Strawberries, 1 lbs
Chocolate (Milk Chocolate) any color desired; I used brown and white
**If you have a holder to hold the strawberries so they dry is beneficial.**
Take the chocolate and melt them in the microwave takes about 1-2 minutes depending on how much you add; stir halfway to melt them faster.
Dip the strawberries in the chocolate; I dipped mine in halfway but you can choose any way you want.
Set aside to dry; once dried use the alternative color and “drip” the color across the strawberry and set aside to dry again.
Total project time: About 1 hour depending if you’re doing the whole container of strawberries including drying time.
Chocolate covered strawberries make great gifts for the holidays, birthdays, graduations and other occasions.
